On October 29, 2019, Denkmann Elementary school celebrated 50 days of school by throwing it back to the '50s. 

 

Staff and students were allowed to dress 50's attire and also attend the school's first-ever sock hop! The cost to attend the dance was two canned good items to be donated to River Bend Foodbank's Student Hunger Drive!

 

Denkmann also held a couple of events during the week to benefit the Student Hunger Drive. The school held PJ's Day and Twin Day, students could dress up if they brought one canned good.
